Maybe you should lower your standards. Looks fine to me, much better than a number of other military games.
Well I admit I don't read/watch every review, so I could be wrong.
I believe you mean Ratchet & Clank Crack in Time. Eurogamer said it offered nothing new and docked points for that. I haven't heard of KZ2 or UC2 getting docked for unoriginality.
A lot of things are done for shock value and not just video games. Take a look at the Saw or Hostel movies. Those are extremely graphic yet I can't help but watch each sequel.
Video games always seem to get the short end of the stick. I think terrorism is a threat in society today but people shouldn't shy away from it. Portraying it in a video game is only a natural evolution. If you see it on the news every day, it'll be incorporated into various media eventually.

I thought Resistance 2 was pretty generic, IMHO. So was Halo. Half Life is where it's at!
BTW The first Resistance was fun. Second was just more of the same. That goes for you too, Halo! >:(
I pity the fool
I thought MW's main appeal was it's online? If you play for under 3 hours, running through it without collecting all the trophies/achievements, you still have countless hours of online gameplay.
Phantom disagrees again...
"and the same basic multiplayer formula as the previous two installments. Lets here it for incremental improvements! Who needs true artistic risk taking?"
Doesn't stop people from buying 3.9 million copies of Madden 2010
@1.10
Good call! I also avoid Madden. I think it's more exciting to catch a game on TV anyway. Go Vikes!
Sorry, but buying a used 360 would be a huge mistake for anyone, regardless. I always buy new consoles for the manufacturer's warranty, except my DSi and PSP.
I am enjoying Dragon's Age immensely, however due to my bike getting fixed, I haven't been playing it as much as I should.
I'm glad they're doing something about it, even though I don't own a 360.
Nice! My copy will be arriving in the morning from Amazon! (release date delivery only $5.98)
Their multiplats have become better since the PS3 launched, but they're still not up to par with 360 (for most titles). Look at Orange Box, they completely butchered that game!
I still don't like them for buying out everyone, though. I think smaller companies feel intimidated by development costs so they sell out to EA. As long as the games are good, I don't mind, but I think EA should quit buying up everyone. It'll be a monopoly. *shrug*
Thanks for the tip!
Above should be "hangs head in shame" not "hands"
I said nothing about layoffs, just my dislike about EA. Get over it. The IT industry is always unstable, people should know that before getting into it. Layoffs suck but working for an evil company sucks even more. Funny thing is, all these smaller companies would have less costs if they weren't bought out. Maybe EA would only have to lay off a few dozen but no, they have to buy up more and more people/companies so they have to cut more. Business sucks, but it's the way the industry work...
I hope this is the beginning of the end for the evil empire.... They're worse than MS. All they do is buy smaller developers and force them to produce multi-plats which usually suck for us PS3 gamers.
Winterbottom? Who wants a frigid ass?
/joke
I'm ashamed I never beat the last boss (I forgot his name, it's been so long) I tried the knifing technique and he always got me. *hands head in shame*
So by the end of the story Ezio has arthritis and bad knees and can't do any more stunts?
